No. 11 Women’s Soccer Faces No. 22 Ventura in Southern California Regional Playoff
CHULA VISTA, CA – Southwestern College women's soccer will face Ventura College in the first round of the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoff at Bonita Vista High School on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:00 PM.
The Southwestern Jaguars (14-3-4) received the automatic qualifying bid from the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference after defeating Miramar 2-0 in the regular season finale. The 2025 PCAC title is head coach Carolina Soto's second conference championship in the last four seasons.
The Ventura Pirates (9-6-6) enter the SoCal Regional with an at-large bid after a third-place finish in the Western State-North conference.
The 24-team Southern California regional consists of 7 automatic qualifying bids for conference champions with the remaining 17 spots receiving at-large bids based on power points. The 48-team field of Northern and Southern California teams will compete in two single elimination regional tournaments for four spots in the California Community College State Championship. The state semifinal games will be played on Dec. 5 and the championship on Dec. 7, 2025, at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA.
