CHULA VISTA, CA – The Southwestern College women's volleyball team enters the 2025 season with renewed energy and competitive confidence.

The upcoming season marks the fifth season under head coach Tyler Reeves.  In 2024, the Jaguars achieved its first winning campaign in over two decades years with an overall record of 13-12 and 8-8 in conference play.  The Jags look to build on last year's success and continue its rise among the conference's finest.

The JAGS

With a group of promising newcomers, Angelie Welker, Cala Flores, and Leilyn Goldberg the Jaguars are looking to spark a new era for Southwestern volleyball.  The team of two returners and 15 new arrivals are excited to take the court for the first time together.  Opening against solid competition will provide an immediate opportunity to see where the Jags are and where the team can grow. It's a great stage to showcase the identity the program wants to build.

2025 Season Schedule

The Jaguar women's volleyball team have 22 competition dates on the schedule.  Southwestern begins their 2025 season at the LA Mission Tournament on Aug. 22 (Friday) and Aug. 23 (Saturday) where they'll face Citrus College plus three more opponents yet to be determined.  Four non-conference matches against San Bernardino Valley, Santa Ana (twice) and Antelope Valley along with 16 PCAC games beginning Sept 17 (Wednesday) round out the schedule.
