Chula Vista-native Domenic Cosentino completed his fourth season as an assistant to head coach John Cosentino at SWC in 2016-17. 

Cosentino prepped at Otay Ranch High in Chula Vista Calif., graduating in 2007. He was named All-League First Team his sophomore and junior seasons. His senior year he was named Mesa League MVP and led the team to the school's first league championship in its history. Cosentino was named to San Diego All-CIF second team his senior year. He also helped the south to a win in the San Diego Senior All Star Game. He then led the Mesa League to a win the South-bay All Star Game while being named MVP.. 

Over the past four years as Recruiting Coordinator, 17 players have earned All-Pacific Coast Conference honors, with many Jaguars grabbing top honors. Shawn Lathan was the first Jaguar Cosentino recruited to be named the Pacific Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2015. The 2015 team went undefeated in Conference and helped to win the programs 11th Conference Championship. Cosentino was named the Southwestern College Assistant Coach of the Year.
