Southwestern College Women's Soccer player Damaris Aguila selected Pacific Coast Athletic Conference’s first Women’s Athlete of the Week for the new academic year. Aguila, a freshman midfielder/forward out of Chula Vista High School, has helped lead the Jaguars to a 3-0 start and is third in the state to begin the season with 6 goals. She also has 3 assists, 15 points and a .462 shot percentage. Aguila led Southwestern to a 7-0 non-conference victory over Norco in their opener with 2 goals and 1 assist. She came right back with 3 goals and an assist in a 6-1 victory over Palomar in a cross-division game and added a goal and an assist in a 2-1 non-conference win vs. Irvine Valley. We congratulate her and look forward to the rest of the season. Way to go Dama!
